Ease of Setup/Use:  

SUPERAntiSpyware was a breeze to setup, and it's designed well, making it easy to use. The setup screens guide you through the various options with straightforward descriptions and explanations, which takes a lot of the headache out of the whole process.

Detection Effectiveness:  

As mentioned previously, SUPERAntiSpyware 4.0 excels at detecting spyware and its ilk. We found it picked up the majority of spyware already installed, but had some slight trouble protecting against new installs. We were glad though, to see that this new version protects against keyloggers.

Removal Effectiveness:  

Our higher-ranked products did a better job at removing spyware and malware than SUPERAntiSpyware. We are confident that SUPERAntiSpyware will get better at this, as they are frequently updating the product.

System Performance:  

This is an area where SUPERAntiSpyware does a great job with its small footprint. We found SUPERAntiSpyware takes it easy on system resources. After install, we noticed zero system slowdowns, and our apps and browsers were similarly adversely unaffected.

This is something that weighs heavily in our opinion, as software that bogs everything down is like a cure that's worse than the disease.

Scan Performance:  

Full scan times were minimal, on the average of around 15-20 minutes. Quick scans took even less time, clocking in at around 5-10 minutes.

Support/Documentation:  

SUPERAntiSpyware has a good support base in their user forums, which are moderated by helpful and knowledgeable company staff. They also have email support, a detailed knowledgebase and FAQs.

No anti-spyware application will detect and rid your computer of everything at any given time. SUPERAntiSpyware, unlike some other companies, is constantly working to improve their detection and removal capabilities. We offer proof in that just a few months ago their software didn't detect or remove keyloggers, but now it does! You could do much worse in choosing a solution to protect your computer.
