Spyware Crusher came in last of all the antispyware products we reviewed. Obviously, you can find better options for only a few dollars more.
Spyware Crusher does have the ability to restore previously deleted components. It also lets you look at past scanning results. It does not offer real time protection or descriptions of the spyware components it finds with the severity ratings.
The only customization options that you have is the ability to select which drives and files to scan. You also have the option to have the Spyware/Adware components automatically deleted.
Ease of Setup/Use:
Since there are very few features in Spyware Crusher, it is fairly easy to use. The interface is intuitive so you should be able to quickly find the features you are looking for.
Detection Effectiveness:
Spyware Crusher is not effective at finding the vast majority of spyware/adware that could be on your PC.
Support/Documentation:
What the manufacturer of Spyware Crusher calls "Support" is just a screenshot of the four areas on the main screen with a couple of notes that tell you what they do. There is an email address for support if you need it.
Summary:
Spyware Crusher came in last of all the products we reviewed. Obviously, you can find better options for only a few dollars more.
